I am a licensed psychotherapist in the states of Colorado and New York. I received my Master’s in clinical counseling psychology from Northwestern University and Bachelor’s in communication from the University of Denver. I specialize in working with adults and young adults struggling with anxiety, self esteem and body image, life transitions, relationship issues and trauma. I bring a warm, intuitive and holistic approach with my clients. Some examples of approaches I utilize include CBT, EMDR, emotional release and traditional "talk" therapy.

OCD and Anxiety Disorders have magnified in our community since our small city has been stressed by the pandemic, the fires, and King Soopers shootings. Rather than ask our clients to bounce around individual offices for their care, our center aims to bring practitioners together in a holistic space that both honors client confidentiality but also streamlines communication between practitioners by using shared health records software. Client care specialists take baseline assessments of OCD upon intake into the collective, and every two months, our specialists will continue to assess measurable progress in the treatment of OCD and anxiety. Kairos Wellness Collective features diverse modalities including Chinese Medicine, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and Coaching (KAP & KAC), Yoga Therapy, Play Therapy, Forest Bathing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Family Therapy. While utilizing diverse approaches, all approaches featured at the center are evidence-based treatments for OCD and Anxiety disorders. Working as an independent provider giving psychiatric care from my office, White Hart PMH, I help students who struggle with depression, anxiety, and attention deficit disorder and provide understanding of the progression and management of these conditions improving the overall quality of personal, academic, and professional life by bringing together physiologic (medications management), psychologic (psychotherapy support, cognitive processes, mindfulness), and lifestyle (nutrition as medicine, physical activity strategies). I find working with college students and young adults very rewarding recognizing I was once in the same place as you. When you’re the type of person who “shows up” for everyone else, it can be hard to admit you’re burned out. Helping is how you’ve learned to cope, connect and stay safe. I treat depression, anxiety, and burnout for people (15 years and older) who are too busy pleasing others to help themselves. My clients often find themselves having sudden health issues or lack of concentration and get into an identity crisis! "Who am I if I can't pull off miracles every day?!?" I offer a combination of psychotherapy and art therapy, which works well for people who don’t know where to start. I also integrate financial therapy into sessions because money issues are often unspoken roadblocks to personal growth. Art therapy is for all ages, and I primarily work with teens and adults. If a little part of you did a cartwheel when you read “art therapy”, it just might be a good fit for you. If another little part of you also got scared and nervous, that’s completely normal. You won't be judged about talent or skill, it's really about the process, not the product. Many clients have big new insights into their lives by working with images.
