College can bring a lot: new freedom, pressure to succeed, and the stress of figuring out who you are and where you are headed. Many of the students I work with feel weighed down by anxiety, burnout, overthinking, imposter syndrome, or the pressure to be perfect. Others are coping with ADHD, past/current trauma, anxiety and social anxiety or just the everyday stress of classes, relationships, and big transitions. With 12 years of experience working in university counseling centers, I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges of college and graduate students' lives. In our work together, you will find a supportive space to talk honestly about what is on your mind, learn coping tools to manage stress, and feel more grounded and confident. My goal is to help you feel less alone and more able to handle the challenges of college life.
My practice focuses on couples/relationship work, men's mental health, and women's empowerment. As a certified sex therapist, I specialize in issues of sexuality, intimacy, sexual function, expression, and addiction. Trained in EMDR and Brainspotting, I focus on trauma and life transitions, and, as an addiction interventionist, on treatment of compulsive behaviors.
I offer a place for you to come exactly as you are. A time to step away from outside distractions – and release judgment. Together, we will foster a space of openness, warmth, compassion and creativity. We all have important stories. Sharing your story and your feelings can bring clarity, relief, and self-understanding.

I am a religious trauma therapist in Denver. Recovering from conservative religion can leave you questioning who you are, what you believe, and how to trust yourself. Maybe you're stuck in perfectionism, constantly thinking, “I’m not good enough,” leading you to isolate from others or hold yourself back from your goals. Maybe you have trouble making decisions because you believe you can't trust your instincts. You might not remember a time when things felt different. But you’re ready for relief: a kinder inner voice, more joy, and a deeper connection to your authentic self. You’re ready to feel confident, not because you’re perfect, but because you’re finally free to be you. As an experienced self-worth, anxiety, and trauma therapist, I believe you can untangle the messages from your past that are holding you back. You don’t have to keep making yourself small and you don’t have to do the work alone. Visit my website to schedule a free 15-minute consultation so we can discuss how I can help.
Currently accepting both virtual and in-person clients - Hi there! My name is Lindsey. I primarily come from an attachment-based, relational approach, where what matters most is genuine, authentic connection. A story well told is my favorite piece of the human experience. We all have stories full of what happens to us that is outside of our control as well as how we respond to these experiences that is within our control. As your therapist, my hope is to empower you to become the author of your own story and provide you with the support, guidance, and resources you need to pick up the pen and decide where you're going next. I particularly specialize in: ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders. I also work with those struggling with their relationships and/or challenges coming up in life (including but not limited to: school, work, navigating 20s and/or 30s, interpersonal struggles, dating, family dynamics, life stressors, identity development, and values work). I find it to truly be an honor and privilege to be right beside you as you navigate whatever challenges life throws at you. Reaching out for support can be a difficult step, and you are brave for how far you've already come. Feel free to send me a message on here or schedule your own phone consult on my website!
You might feel torn between what you want and what everyone else expects from you. You try to make the right choices, keep the peace, and be there for everyone, yet you are left feeling anxious, guilty, and unsure of your own needs. I work with women who feel stuck in relationships, career decisions, and life transitions, and who want to understand themselves more clearly and set healthier boundaries. My work is grounded in CBT, Mindfulness, EMDR, strengths-based therapy, and Trauma Informed care. I pay close attention to the mind-body connection because it often reveals what words cannot. Our goal is to help you feel more like yourself, more confident in your decisions, and more connected to what you truly want. I show up with honesty, compassion, and a little humor. I will support you, challenge you, and call out the patterns that keep showing up so you can stay focused on what matters to you. I enjoy learning about clients from a very dynamic perspective - where they came from, how they are now, and who they wish to become. I look forward to working with you and watching you grow into the person you have always wanted to be. I am trained in both short term (6-10 sessions) and long term therapy, and encourage clients to make their own decision regarding what they need from therapy. I also do stand-alone evaluations for emotional support animal letters.
