Moss & Clay Therapy
Hi, I’m Megan (she/her)! I’m a therapist with a PhD and an LCSW, and I bring together clinical practice, creativity, and research to help people feel more connected to themselves and their lives. I primarily offer in-person therapy sessions and typically work with children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 8-30). My work is grounded in the belief that healing doesn’t happen in isolation; it’s shaped by our relationships, identities, and the environments we move through. I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. I often support clients navigating anxiety, depression, self-harm, low self-esteem, trauma, and related challenges, while also recognizing that diagnoses are only one small part of a much larger story. Rather than focusing solely on labels, I center your lived experience and what feels most meaningful and helpful to you. I draw on approaches such as nature-based, arts-based, and play-based therapies, as well as client-centered practices. As a queer-identified therapist, I am especially passionate about working with LGBTQIA+ clients and providing affirming, thoughtful care that honors the complexity and joy of your identities.

Let’s be real — the state of the world right now is heavy. As if maintaining good mental health weren’t hard enough already, right? I’m here to support with those hard day-to-day challenges, and to help you understand and shift how your past shapes the way you move through the world today. You have a story worth telling, and I want to hear it. My role is to walk beside you — offering perspective, practical tools, and space to heal. I specialize in working with trauma, grief, and anxiety, always guided by mindfulness, compassion, and a holistic perspective on healing. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities including EMDR, Internal family systems (IFS or inner child work), Somatic Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I take a creative approach, weaving together tools from each of these modalities to shape a process that truly fits your needs. For more detail on each, check out the image above. Therapy should feel like a space where you’re truly supported. For some, that means sitting on a cozy couch in an office. For others, it might mean walking through a nearby park or connecting virtually from the comfort of home. You know what feels right for you — and I’d be honored to walk alongside you on that path.

As an outpatient therapist, I use trauma-informed, patient-centered, and strengths-based approaches to help adolescents, adults, and parents. My specialties include anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, executive functioning difficulties, self-esteem concerns, women's issues, parenting stress, and major life transitions when you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain. Together, we build self-awareness, develop effective coping skills, process difficult experiences, strengthen relationships, and help you move toward feeling more grounded, confident, and empowered in your life. Our work together happens in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment, as I believe in creating a compassionate, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic relationship where every person feels seen, heard, and valued. This allows me to be a trusted and understanding partner in your healing journey, meeting you where you are and supporting you as you work toward your goals. I look forward to helping you build insight and create meaningful change in your life through our work. Before becoming a therapist, my path began with supporting adolescents with diverse learning, emotional, and behavioral needs in educational settings. These experiences deepened my commitment to providing compassionate and individualized care that recognizes each person's unique story and strengths. I bring this background in mental health counseling and special education to each session, creating a space where patients feel supported, understood, and empowered in their growth. Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, practicing yoga, and cooking. I value opportunities to slow down, stay present, and find balance through activities that support creativity, mindfulness, and connection.
Anne Bliss Niess, LLC
I am a believer that we are all interconnected. Our relationships matter most to our wellbeing. And while we are living in a time where we are easily able to connect with one another, we have also never been so isolated and alone. The messages we receive from our greater systems often are at odds with what I know contribute to our wellbeing. Because of that we can often feel stuck, less than, or constantly hustling for “that thing.” We can end up chasing the wrong thing and find ourselves perpetually behind or inadequate. Our culture often places so much emphasis on outcomes, appearance, and external or material things. I sincerely believe that they are often at the root of our unhappiness. We often are doing the thing we think will help us but it ultimately harms us! We are doing it wrong. Together we will explore the often painful and uncomfortable spaces within and work from an Inside-Out approach. In doing so, we find that the storms tend to be more universal, we see our common humanity, we develop more self compassion and compassion and empathy for others. When we are our authentic selves, we become more free and our sessions will include plenty of laughing even as we dive into the parts that feel hard. We were never meant to do this life alone. And yet – so many of us are often sold on false narratives that “it’s just you” or have been invalidated, shamed, or traumatized by oppressive systems on the larger scale or within our own homes. My pride in the work is to help you become your best self, the one who is not merely living, but the one who is truly alive. Feeling it all, skin in the game, open to heartbreak, receptive to joy. Facing our pain is not easy (I know this well!). But I know deeply that when we do the right kind of hard, our efforts are fruitful beyond measure. Let’s face this together.

Therapy asks us to tap into vulnerable parts of ourselves. It requires safety and comfort. My clients are courageous enough to show up as their authentic selves, therefore I value being my authentic self within our therapeutic relationship. I incorporate empirically supported interventions into our time processing concerns, building self-awareness, making meaningful changes, and exploring identities. I specialize working with individuals who desire to dedicate less time and energy to food and body image concerns, and more time to aspects of life truly important to them. I approach disordered eating and body image work from a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework. I want my clients to “taste life” and to experience it in a fulfilling way. I also have ample experience working with anxiety, depression, grief, relational concerns, life transitions, perfectionism, ADD/ADHD, and athletic identity. I value and enjoy working with diverse populations and strive to create a safe space for individuals of all backgrounds, cultures, and identities. While we may not share identities or experiences, it is my mission as your therapist to approach our work with humility and to gain understanding of your authentic self.
Authentic Connections Therapy and Wellness
Are your relationships suffering? Are you struggling to date, preserve your relationship, or find sexual satisfaction in your relationships? Are you facing questions about yourself and your path in life? Relationship and identity issues are often at the core of our suffering and can leave us feeling alone, rejected, and misunderstood. You deserve the chance to feel seen, to heal, and to grow through and toward connection. At ACTW, we love helping people find ways to live their authentic self and establish meaningful, loving, sexually satisfied relationships. This means exploring vulnerable topics with compassion and safety, healing old wounds from past relationships, and empowering you to thrive in being your genuine self. We help our clients understand how their past has impacted their present and can best support their future. We'll work collaboratively to understand your early life experiences, as well as current stressors, and how they may be contributing to some of the struggles you're experiencing. Our relational approach allows our clients to feel seen and heard, while getting the support and insight they need to heal, grow, and change. We'll help you rediscover your resiliency and self-worth.

I work with older teens and adults who experience trauma symptoms, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and identity issues, LGBTQIA2S+ concerns, or other life transitions. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship prompts fuller connections in other areas of life - to oneself, to others, and to the environment. We will work to discover your personal values, explore and process patterned behaviors and relationships, and uncover and utilize your own strengths to take steps towards achieving personal goals. My approach is trauma-focused and person-centered, including a background in psychodynamic therapy, somatic attachment theory, parts work, TF-CBT, and holistic wellness.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with eight years of combined clinical experience, my work is rooted in one simple belief: that quality mental health care should be accessible to everyone, at every stage of life. Specializing in medication management across the lifespan, I bring both clinical expertise and a deeply personal commitment to the patients I serve. Growing up as a first-generation American raised by Spanish parents, I understand firsthand how language and cultural barriers can stand between people and the care they deserve. That lived experience fuels my passion for culturally competent mental health care, and my dedication to ensuring that you feel truly understood and supported throughout your treatment. Evidence-based practice guides everything I do, because you deserve care that is both thoughtful and grounded in what works. You can expect an environment that is open, kind, and collaborative from our first meeting. Using a conversational approach to assessment and treatment planning, my goal is always to meet you where you are, not where anyone else thinks you should be. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, you are seen as a whole person, with your own story, values, and needs shaping the direction of your care. Every treatment plan we build together reflects that holistic perspective. Finding the right path forward is a partnership, and your voice matters every step of the way. My path to becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner began in an oncology office, where assisting patients receiving chemotherapy became far more than a clinical task. Sitting with people during some of their most vulnerable moments, offering conversation and a bit of warmth in the middle of something so difficult, revealed how profoundly meaningful human connection can be in a care setting. These experiences made it clear that mental health was where my work was meant to go. That early foundation continues to inform the care offered today, reminding me that presence, compassion, and genuine attention are just as important as clinical skill. When not at work, you'll likely find me out on the trails with my dogs, gliding across the ice figure skating, moving through a Pilates session, or discovering new foods while exploring somewhere new. These pursuits keep me grounded and curious, qualities that carry right back into the care I bring to every patient.

As a trauma-informed therapist, my work centers on identity, healing, and relational transformation for adults working to reclaim clarity, autonomy, and emotional wellness. Whether you're navigating coercive relationships, trauma, identity loss, or a major life transition, this is a space where your experiences are genuinely understood and validated. Many of the people I work with are seeking emotional safety, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of self after experiencing emotionally harmful dynamics, including divorce, narcissistic abuse, domestic violence, cult experiences, or religious and spiritual trauma. These are experiences that can be difficult to put into words, and you deserve a therapist who not only understands them but can help you make sense of what you've been through. At the heart of my approach is a deep belief in our innate human need to be authentic and free. That belief shapes how I show up for you, as a supportive, grounding presence dedicated to helping you reclaim your life, your identity, and your autonomy. Collaboration, curiosity, and a deep respect for your autonomy shape the way I work with you. Every session is built on a foundation of trust and honesty, in a space that is warm, nonjudgmental, and genuinely supportive of wherever you are in your journey. Using relational and trauma-informed approaches, we'll work together to help you better understand and reconnect with yourself, process painful experiences, and build healthier patterns in your relationships and daily life. I tailor everything to your unique needs and goals, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all framework. What matters most is that you feel genuinely seen, especially in experiences that others may not fully understand. Coercive control, emotional abuse, and relational trauma are areas I'm particularly drawn to and well-versed in. For many people, simply feeling validated in these experiences is a meaningful first step. My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by both personal and professional experiences that showed me, firsthand, how profoundly relationships and social influence shape our emotional well-being and sense of self. These experiences didn't just inform my clinical focus — they deepened my commitment to creating a therapeutic space where people feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported. Warmth, insight, and an authentic relational presence are what I bring to every session. This work is not just a career; it's a calling rooted in a genuine desire to walk alongside you as you find your way back to yourself. Outside of sessions, you'll often find me reading, writing, or diving into investigative journalism. Hobbies that keep me both curious and grounded. Hiking offers a different kind of reset, one that connects me to the world in a way that carries over into how I show up for the people I work with.

Are you or your child navigating mental health struggles, but are ready to better understand yourself and create meaningful change? As an LGBTQIA+-affirming therapist, I specialize in anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, identity development, and trauma for adolescents and adults. You may feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, disconnected from your values, or overwhelmed by past experiences. Rather than looking for someone to "fix" you, you want a compassionate therapist who helps you make sense of your story, build practical skills, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. That’s where I come in. I have a particular passion for working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and others seeking a safe, affirming space where you can be fully yourself while developing resilience, self-compassion, and deeper, more connected relationships. In my view, healing happens through genuine connection, authenticity, and a relationship built on trust, compassion, and respect. My goal is to be a thoughtful, collaborative partner who walks alongside you, not to tell you who you should become but to help you discover the strengths, resilience, and wisdom that already exist within you. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply ready for something different, you don't have to navigate it alone. I would be honored to support you as you build the life, relationships, and sense of purpose you deserve, one meaningful step at a time. The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of healing, and my style reflects that through thoughtful, engaging, and genuine care. I provide trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+-affirming therapy grounded in compassion, curiosity, and evidence-based care to help you reconnect with your strengths and live more intentionally. Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), existential therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and Mindfulness, I tailor treatment to your unique story and goals. Together, we'll identify unhelpful patterns, develop practical coping skills, process difficult experiences, and build a life that aligns with your values, working at a pace that feels both supportive and appropriately challenging. The goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, challenged with care, and empowered to create lasting change. My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by both my professional career and my personal life. Like many of my patients, I've experienced seasons of anxiety, depression, and profound life transition. Therapy was an essential part of helping me navigate those challenges while pursuing a high-achieving career, raising an incredible son with autism and ADHD, and later embracing my authentic self as a transgender woman in midlife. These experiences deepened my appreciation for the courage it takes to ask for help and the transformative power of a trusting therapeutic relationship. Today, I am committed to providing compassionate, trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+-affirming care where patients feel truly seen, understood, and accepted. I bring empathy, life experience, and clinical expertise to every session, believing that healing begins when people discover they don't have to face life's challenges alone. Outside the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my son and exploring Colorado through backpacking, climbing, and skiing. A lifelong competitive tennis player and music lover, I also love spending time with my French Bulldog. These experiences keep me grounded, remind me to appreciate the present moment, and reinforce the importance of resilience, connection, and finding joy in life's everyday adventures.

Many of my clients begin work unsure of how to describe what they are going through - that's ok. Others know they struggle to connect with others, cope with stress, manage emotions, navigate life transitions, or move beyond the impact of past experiences. Some connect with me wanting to learn actionable skills for managing their anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, personality disorder, or other condition(s). Together, we'll find words for your experiences, explore where patterns come from, and build practical tools. I customize my approach to each client's needs. Let's connect and decide together whether we are a good fit. Ultimately, my goal is for your day to day life to feel more sustainable, meaningful, and connected.
Dylan Warnari, SWC, M.Ed.
Hi there, my name is Dylan Warnari (he/him) I am looking to work with young adults as I find it can be an equally challenging and exciting time for people. There's a lot to consider from school motivation, setting oneself up for a career, and navigating peers/teachers and the college system broadly. Additionally, it can be a time where you're exploring new identities, meeting new people, navigating roommate situations, finding important relationships, and sometimes managing the ups and downs of newfound freedom from parental overhead. My hope is to be a support in helping you explore your options and find those that most align with your values and goals. I have a pretty extensive background in education (can see my website if interested) that has shaped my view that for some, dropping out, and finding a way to do that despite outside pressures, can also be valuable and I can support in that transition as well. Of course, I am open to discussing concerns beyond what's mentioned here including depression, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, coping skills, and identity. I also bring a focus on emotional self- and co-regulation to session. Some additional detail highlights (1) My availability is mostly between 9:30-3:30 Mon - Fri, but if you have additional preferences I may be available, (2) I offer and prefer in-person off I225 and Iliff, but may be open to virtual, (3) 18+ and willing to work with all genders (4) I accept insurance (Kaiser, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare) and also private pay at $150 a session with sliding scale pricing available.
